WORKSHOP ON APPLICATION OF MALAYSIAN STANDARDS AND UNIVERSAL DESIGN FOR PRODUCT DESIGN

In conjunction with UDPC 2017 Competition a workshop is organized. The workshop will provide some insights on the UDPC 2017 requirements, the application of universal design in designing products for all during disaster, as well as highlighting the Malaysian Standards (MS) with regards to designing universal design product and its development. The invited speakers will be experts in the particular groups, and Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya’s officer-in-charge in developing Universal Design Standards in Malaysia. The target audience for the workshop will be the students, designers, manufacturers and educators.
